Mandee's Minutes
LIFE • CAREER • LEADERSHIP COACHING

THIS IS ME
My life has had a lot of chapters. Some I chose. Some chose me. And a few I probably stayed in longer than I should have.
I’ve spent most of my life building something...a family, a career, relationships, teams, and more than a few versions of myself along the way.
I’m a mom, a wife, a friend, a leader, and someone who genuinely loves people. I’m ambitious and curious, a little stubborn, sometimes spontaneous, and usually thinking about what’s next. I believe in honesty, integrity, compassion, and treating people well.
I don’t have everything figured out and I’m not trying to pretend I do. I’m always thinking about how I can grow, make life a little better, and help the people around me do the same. I want to be a little better than I was yesterday, find happiness in the everyday moments, and create a life with more freedom, peace, and joy.
Because life is too short not to enjoy it.
MY STORY
I’ve always been independent, ambitious, curious and a little bit of a dreamer.
I started working young because I wanted my own money and the freedom to make my own choices. I built a career in transportation and logistics, became a mom, led teams, developed people and learned a lot about leadership, relationships and myself along the way.
But some of my greatest lessons didn't come from my career.
They came from life.
I've experienced success and loss, made great decisions and some not-so-great ones, started over more than once, and gone through seasons that completely changed the way I see the world.
Somewhere along the way, I stopped measuring a good life by what it looked like from the outside.
Today, success looks a lot more like freedom, peace, meaningful relationships, laughter, good health, purpose and actually enjoying the life I'm creating.
I believe our hardest seasons can become some of our greatest teachers if we're willing to ask:
What is this trying to teach me?
That shift in perspective has changed my life.
THE BIRTH OF MANDEE'S MINUTES
People have been coming to me for advice for as long as I can remember.
Career decisions. Leadership challenges. Resumes. Relationships. Life. Sometimes they want advice. Sometimes they need a different perspective. And sometimes they just need someone to listen.
Years ago, I had a freight customer who would regularly call and say:
“I just need a minute.”
Her minute was rarely a minute.
One evening, after another one of those conversations, I told Marcus:
“Sorry I'm late...she just needed a few Mandee Minutes.”
We laughed about it, but something about those words stuck.
Mandee's Minutes.
It described something I'd been doing for years without ever really thinking about it. People came to me when they needed to talk something through, sort something out, or simply have someone listen.
Eventually, I realized those conversations weren't interruptions in my day.
They were something I genuinely loved.
And that's how Mandee's Minutes began.
WHAT I BELIEVE
One of the last pieces of advice my mom gave me was:
“Mandee, remember, you have to meet people where they are at.”
She was right.
I believe people are capable of incredible growth, but real change takes time. You can't rush someone into becoming who you think they should be. You have to listen, understand where they are, and help them see what's possible from a different perspective.
I believe our hardest seasons can become some of our greatest teachers. Instead of only asking, “Why is this happening to me?” I've learned to ask, “What is this trying to teach me?”
I believe in doing the work, but I also believe we're allowed to enjoy our lives while we're figuring things out. Growth doesn't have to mean constantly fixing ourselves. Sometimes it's learning to appreciate what we already have, letting go of what no longer serves us, and deciding what we want the next chapter to look like.
I'm still growing too. I'm still learning, changing, challenging old beliefs and figuring out what I want my own life to become.
My dream is that I want people to think, if Mandee can do it, then so can I!!
Because transformation is possible.
